Sapporo Ryutsu System is a logistics company of Sapporo Holdings Ltd., and its sales office in Nagoya, located in Kita-Nagoya City which is close to Nagoya Airport (Komaki Airport), is in charge of logistics around Tokai Area and Hokuriku Area.
In 1963, the factory of Pokka Lemon began its operation in the neighborhood and later on they started making Pokka Coffee. Then, they merged with Sapporo Holdings in 2012.

The yellow bridge next to their office is called the Lemon Bridge; it was built in 1964 and is officially recognized by the local government and named by their friendly neighbors.

Mr. Kazuyuki Kishi

Sapporo Ryutsu System decided to install our special outdoor lighting in front of their delivery area, and our indoor maintenance-free lighting for their warehouse and under the eaves.
We were able to interview Mr. Kishi, who joined before the Pokka merger, who has the experience of working in the Kinki area, and now also works as the manager of Corporate Planning Department of Nagoya Branch of Sapporo Group Logistics.

Thank you for using so many of Stanley’s products! How has your experience with LED lightings been so far?

Mr. Kishi: First of all, the power consumption is very low. I think the decrease of electricity bill will cover the initial investment in a long term. It is also helpful that they have long operating life and that they are maintenance-free.
In addition, we started turning them on and off more diligently, so the employees became more aware of what not to waste.

Installation

We are glad that you feel several benefits. Now, let’s talk about each product. How do you like our special outdoor lighting that you installed in the delivery area?

Mr. Kishi: They are very bright. It used to be difficult to see under the eaves and during night shifts, but now we can see clearly from forklifts thanks to the lighting positions and angles. They provide better safety and security for the operators.

It’s great to hear that you like them. What about the indoor maintenance-free lightings?

Mr. Kishi: I like their compact size. And we were also able to decrease the number of luminaires because they are brighter. The brightness helped us notice dirt and stains that had been overlooked in the warehouse and under the eaves. The luminaires do not produce much heat, which is also very helpful. Not that indoors in the summer is not hot enough, though!
